Life is full of changes, good ones and bad ones. You would have the feelings of annoy, fear, anger or frustration when there are unwanted changes in your life.
I very often feel the stressing out when I go back to my hometown after I have been away for a while. A favorite restaurant I used to go for is closed; a charming park I like is demolished; even the street I used to live in is disappeared… The topics of conversation between friends of mine and I are not as interesting as before; it is harder to arrange a meet up with friends and relatives because everybody seems to be so busy this days…
This painting is my heart’s portrait. The beautiful ancient Chinese female represent myself who’s in her hometown. Everything is changed, the colors of landscape are faded away. Her own reflection in the water turns to be an intriguing and futuristic alien figure in green.
The title of this painting, Adam’s Ale, indicate the situation of resign to no choice and uncontrollable.
