social media : Started in the early 2000s, social media has changed the world that people spend large amount of time online and looking for information and entertainment through different platforms.

overnight sensation:
Ding Zhen
a 20-year-old Tibetan man, from Litang county (over 4000 meters’ altitude), Sichuan Province(my hometown). Ding lives in a remote plateau county which altitude is over 4,000 meters and poor. Ding became an internet sensation for his good looks and innocent smile. instead of go to the big city to persue luxurious life style he is working as a tourism ambassador of Litang county to promoting tourism for his hometown.

This painting depicts a beautiful and interesting scene, the vivid blue sky, orange scarf and white colors’ pagoda catches viewers eye, and there is a sense of tranquil and peaceful. I think the bitcoins which symbolized the money and wealth is strong but seems a bit out of the place if viewer do not know the background story about Ding Zhen.
